For the 2012 eventing season, Topline will again be running a separate combined test and horse trials competition for each of our scheduled events. Adding a combined test competition the day before the horse trials has been very popular with riders as it provides each horse and rider with another opportunity to show their horses in the dressage and stadium phases. The combined test is a completely separate competition from the event.

Lynda Ramsay will be at Topline to instruct at the summer eventing clinic on July 24-25, just prior to the Summer Horse Trials. Offering an eventing clinic so close to the actual event has been very popular, and helps riders of all levels prepare and gain confidence for the upcoming event. All obstacles, including the water jump, will be open for schooling at the clinic. Come stay with us and make a holiday in the Shuswap while you enjoy the sport of eventing. The beautiful Shuswap Lake is only 5 minutes from Topline Show Park. For more information about the clinic please contact Sonya Campbell.

Each year numerous upgrades are made to the cross country course and show jumps and 2012 is no exception. The recent improvements have improved the competitors’ experience in all divisions. The footing is excellent and useable season long.

6) CROSS COUNTRY: T- 2000 @ 425mpm; PT - 1969m @ 375mpm; E - 1590m @ 350mpm, PE - 1462m @ 325mpm; S – 1000m @ 300mpm. Terrain: Rolling Grass meadow with some sand and treed trails.
7) AWARDS: Comb Test Ribbons to 6th. Event Ribbons to 8th - Prizes to 3rd. Other awards-High test dressage score & High point pony clubber for each div.
